Rich and savory homemade Balsamic BBQ Sauce takes just minutes to make, and you’ll be all set to slather your favorite meat, seafood, and vegetables.
From Maple Bourbon to Rhubarb Ginger, the possibilities are endless to create a BBQ Sauce that you can’t find anywhere else. This sauce is perfect for BBQ meats due to it’s thick and sticky consistency.
We recommend using a non-stick pot for easy cleanup but any pot will work. Dark Balsamic will produce a beautiful dark brown traditional looking sauce but White Balsamic can be used too.
This sauce is the perfect vehicle for any flavor of Balsamic, some great suggestions are Rhubarb Ginger, Raspberry, Bourbon, Maple Bourbon or Caramelized Onion. You can use a Golden Balsamic for a lighter colored sauce.
Ingredients
6 oz. can of tomato paste
3/4 cup balsamic vinegar (Any flavor of your choice)
1/4 cup Pear and Apple Ambrosia vinegar
1/4 cup water
¼ cup Dark Brown Sugar
¼ teaspoon cayenne, (more if you like it spicy)
Instructions
Combine all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan (Preferably Non-Stick for easier cleanup) and whisk together until smooth.
Place over medium heat and bring to a slow boil, stirring frequently, then reduce heat and simmer 5-10 minutes until slightly thickened to the desired consistency.
Remove from heat, you can use it immediately to sauce your favorite BBQ!

Best way to Store Your Barbecue Sauce
Let the balsamic BBQ sauce cool to room temperature. Transfer to an airtight container or glass jar, seal and refrigerate. It will keep for up to 2 weeks.
