Easy Marinated Mushrooms

Very simple recipe for marinating mushrooms. Portobello, Shiitake or any Gourmet Mushroom will work well in this recipe. Leave them whole or slice them if the mushrooms are too large.


1lb Baby Bella Mushrooms (Shiitake Mushrooms – Either whole or sliced per your preference)

1/2tsp Vintage Merlot Sea Salt

1 Cup Italian Blend Vinaigrette

1 Onion Sliced

1 Red Bell Pepper Sliced

1 Clove Garlic Minced

1tbs 25 Star Traditional Dark Balsamic (Optional)


Using a large skillet over medium/high heat, add mushrooms and sprinkle with salt. Cook for approximately 5 to 7 minutes until golden and tender. Be sure to stir occasionally so they don’t burn.

Add Italian Blend Vinaigrette, Onion, Red Pepper, Garlic and Balsamic. Stir and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium/low and continue to cook and stir for 3 to 5 more minutes until the Onion and Bell Pepper soften slightly.

Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Enjoy them warm or cold.
